Anticipating the release of a new album, Muse, in early 2016, California banjo chanteuse Erin Inglish will tour for the 2015-2016 seasons as Erin Inglish w/the Stringtown Ambassadors - a lively collaboration featuring new-folk power-duo Rosalind Parducci (fiddle, vocals) and Arlo Blaisus (mandolin, vocals). Erin Inglish is a tour-de-force banjo chanteuse, a thoughtful wanderer steeped in the thick of California's music scene. Inglish's performances have dazzled audiences across the country and around the globe with her brilliant lyricism, toe tapping groves, and striking reflections about the state of the modern world. Her voice is both lush and raw, and her picking style on the five-string banjo is uniquely her own...expressive, sassy, dynamic. The Stringtown Ambassadors are Rosalind Parducci on fiddle and Arlo Blaisus on mandolin. Inspired, fresh, vivacious - this new-folk power-duo from North Carolina delightfully twists tunes old and new with their own flare. Parducci's luminescent fiddle riffs winnow, chop and sing sweet melodies as Blaisus's driving mandolin rhythms punch and stitch a worldly groove into their sound. Insightful songwriters and singers as well, and with a repertoire of breadth and depth like the lands they traverse, the Stringtown Ambassadors are passionate and unabashed modern-day minstrels. Parducci and Blaisus are fearless pickers. Gritty, groovy, genuine. They are stewards and interpreters of traditional music from America and the British Isles, performers of songs their own penning with road-tested authenticity, and true ambassadors of folk.
